Greater Heights
PROJECT TYPE
Brand Identity, Wayfinding
As part of a college urban branding course, I was randomly assigned Greater Heights, a historic and culturally rich Super Neighborhood in Houston, TX. The project involved creating a cohesive brand identity—including a logo, color palette, typography, and wayfinding signage—that reflects the area’s unique character and strengthens its visual presence across public spaces.
design process
The challenge was to capture Greater Heights' rich history and culture while giving it a modern touch. Research involved photographing the neighborhood’s Victorian homes and speaking with local residents, uncovering key details that defined the area. This led to a brand direction that blends Victorian-inspired elements with a modern style, creating an identity that feels both true to the past and relevant today.
